Anyone can shorten straps and hem a gown, but only an expert seamstress can redesign, reconstruct and deliver a customized fit that exceeds your wildest dreams. I deliver high quality results using only the best techniques.

I have an eye for detail, and the knowledge and experience to see fit issues my brides may not even be aware of, which puts me in a position to offer the best results to my brides. It is my priority to deliver stunning, top quality results so your dress feels made for your body.

For most brides, their wedding gown is the first time they have needed alterations, and it can be a stressful experience. I know that fittings are a vulnerable experience for everyone. Your biggest insecurities are on display, and I am here to listen and help you feel confident on one of the most important days of your life. I make myself available to my brides throughout the alterations process to let you know what you can expect and answer your questions. You can always expect honesty and transparency from me. I care about you as a person as much as I care about your dress, and I want your whole experience to be memorable for all the right reasons.

Pricing

I am committed to being transparent about pricing with all of my brides. I know that custom alterations is a new experience for most brides and that it can be hard to know what to expect. So I take the time to explain what your dress needs, the different ways that can be accomplished and what it is going to cost so that you can be in control of your experience. I do not have the lowest prices out there. My goal is to offer top quality work and transparency. I want you to know what you are paying for and to be absolutely in love with your dress. I am happy to provide complementary quotes before an in person fitting. Use the section below to email me a picture of you in your gown and any questions and concerns you have. I will answer them and let you know what you can expect to spend on your alterations and what I can do to meet your vision. Every dress is built different, and every bride has different needs and preferences. I need to see your dress to give you an accurate price. In very general terms, wedding dress alterations can cost anywhere from $600-$800 if your dress just needs the basics, or $1,000-$1500 if your dress needs a redesign or custom pieces built.

I will reply with a detailed description of the fit issues I see, how I plan to remedy them, feedback for your concerns and options to resolve them, a detailed cost estimate, and a timeline. If an in person consultation is necessary, I will let you know.

Once you have decided that I am the right fit for you, I will send you a link to book your fitting appointment where I will pin and fit your dress for alterations.

A Little About Me

Hi, my name actually is Grace Kelley! My passion for sewing and fashion began at a young age. I grew up sketching dresses in my spare time and using every opportunity I could to learn to sew from anyone who would teach me. 

I have spent years learning and perfecting my craft, always pursuing the best techniques and improving my skills. As an adult, I fell in love with Bridal Sewing and never looked back. Hard work, hours of practice and the instruction of highly skilled seamstresses gave me an understanding of gown construction and the skills to sculpt your dress to perfection regardless of body shape and size. My career has brought me so much joy and allows me the freedom to pursue my passion while raising a family.

I have always known that what you wear and how it fits can have a significant impact on how you feel about yourself. I love watching my brides put on their finished gowns, because they just glow, and that makes it all worth it to me.
